• System Configuration:
Configure the system to meet the business requirements. This includes setting up the necessary parameters, workflows, and data entities in the system.
• Service Operations:
Manage the service operations of the system. This includes monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that the system is running smoothly.
• Training:
Provide training to end-users on how to use the system effectively. This includes creating training materials and conducting training sessions.
• Implementation:
Lead the implementation of the Supply Chain workstream for
Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP. This includes analysis, design, build, test, train,
cutover, operations, and support.
• Integration:
Work on system integration. This involves integrating Dynamics 365
with other systems used by the organization. It is recommended to assign
dedicated resources to each system integration and treat each as its own
separate project.
• Development and Administration:
Develop and administer Dynamics 365 Supply
Chain Management and other finance and operations apps. This includes
customizing the system to meet specific business needs and managing user
access and security.
• Real-time Visibility and Agile Planning:
Build an adaptable, resilient supply chain
that automatically reacts to challenges using real-time visibility, agile planning,
and advanced insights.
• Client Workshops:
Conduct client workshops to define business requirements
required for them to successfully implement the ERP solution.
• Process Mapping:
Use techniques, such as shadowing, to discover a customer’s
business process. This involves spending time with different teams within the
organization to understand their workflows and processes. Map the discovered
business processes into Dynamics 365. This involves identifying the milestones
in a process and exploring the different options for mapping a process into
Dynamics 365.
• Discover Business Processes:
Use techniques, such as shadowing, to discover a
customer’s business process. This involves spending time with different teams
within the organization to understand their workflows and processes.
• Map Business Processes:
Map the discovered business processes into
Dynamics 365. This involves identifying the milestones in a process and
exploring the different options for mapping a process into Dynamics 365.
• Data Mapping:
Map and transform the data fields and values between the source
and target systems. This involves extracting, loading, and testing the data using
ETL tools and methods.
• Data Verification:
Verify and validate the data quality and accuracy in your
Dynamics 365 solution. This ensures that the data migrated to the new system is
accurate and reliable.
• Strategy Development:
Develop a comprehensive strategy that includes data
cleaning, proof, and mapping. This ensures that historical data is seamlessly
transferred to the new system.
• Process Optimization:
Use the mapped processes to optimize business
operations. This involves identifying areas of improvement and implementing
changes to enhance efficiency.
• Accounts Receivable and Payable:
Manage all functions related to accounts
receivable and payable. This includes tracking invoices, payments, and
customer/vendor balances.
• Expense Management:
Oversee all functions related to expense management.
This includes tracking and approving employee expenses and integrating with
accounts payable for reimbursements.
• Budgeting:
Manage all functions related to budgeting. This includes setting up
budgets, tracking budget vs actuals, and managing budget revisions.
• Cost Accounting:
Oversee all functions related to cost accounting. This includes
tracking costs, managing cost allocations, and providing cost analysis and
reporting.
• Cash and Bank Management:
Manage all functions related to cash and bank
management. This includes tracking cash balances, managing bank accounts,
and reconciling bank statements.
• Financial Reporting:
Oversee all functions related to financial reporting. This
includes creating financial reports, managing financial consolidations, and
providing financial analysis.
• Procurement:
Manage all functions related to procurement. This includes
managing purchase orders, vendor contracts, and vendor evaluations.
• Logistics:
Oversee all functions related to logistics. This includes managing
transportation, shipping, and delivery of goods.
• Demand Forecasting:
Manage all functions related to demand forecasting. This
includes predicting future sales, adjusting production levels, and managing
inventory.
• Degree in Finance / Supply Chain / CS or equavalent.
• Experience in Finance and/or SCM modules.
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in consultancy or 3 years end to end
implementations.
• Knowledge about ERP implementation methodologies.
• Base knowledge of LCS and Azure DevOps.
• Strong MS Office skills (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus).
• Good communication and presentation skills.
